The Parish Council thanked the members of Play in Prestwood
with flowers, and Mike Rainford of the Rotary Club of Great Missenden
with a bottle of Scotch.
The kids presented Cherie Blair with a bouquet of flowers
Cherie Blair praised the efforts and power of 'determined women'
... and explained how she got involved in the project about a year ago
while at the Misbourne School's 50th anniversary fete ... and how she
encouraged the Rotary Club of Great Missenden to help the
neighbouring stall at that fete - Play in Prestwood. She further facilitated a
a successful fund raising event.
