The aim is simple – that no one should become needlessly disabled by disease, lack of knowledge or shortage of medical services. Their work covers Africa and Asia.

THE GIFT OF A LIFETIME

Gift Idea 1: Home Garden (£20 + P&P*)

This gift will purchase seeds, saplings and training to help establish a home fruit and vegetable garden which could feed a family for a lifetime in Africa or Asia.

Gift Idea 2: Restore sight, hearing or mobility (£25 +P&P*)

Thanks to the commitment of local resources, the average cost to IMPACT of providing an operation that will restore sight, movement or hearing to another person in the developing world is just £25. Having a needless disability alleviated means renewed opportunity to earn a living or learn in school and so also tackles poverty.

Gift Idea 3: Training a health worker or midwife (£87 + P&P*)

There is an acute shortage of health workers and midwives in developing countries. Training and equipping a health worker or traditional birth attendant enables them to look after the health of people living in their communities and is a sustainable solution to the desperate need for care.

Gift tokens will be posted second class or air mail. Please allow 5 working days for delivery within the UK and 10 working days for delivery elsewhere.
