Your President alias Santa Terry Cann

What a Christmas. Rotarians Brian Barnett and Martin Boulton, with help from other Rotarians, did a grand job preparing the float ready for its annual outing. Not to be beaten by the snow they slipped and slid until the reindeer were ready. Collections started off well with tremendous support from both Rotarians and people collecting on behalf of various charities. Unfortunately 'health and safety' decreed that snow should stop play on several evenings and also a static display.

However you can't keep good men down and as 10 inches of snow fell during the first hour of the Tesco collection Santas, Alan M, President Terry and George R Ho, Ho, Ho'd to cheer up last minute shoppers. Sensibly the operation was cancelled after lunch - little did they know it  had taken the President two hours to get out of the car park.
